Around the world, people are reeling from the effects of the poor economy. Companies are closing or drastically downsizing their operations and good, honest, hard-working people are being laid off in large numbers with little hope for immediate relief.

You have to realize that there is no shortage of money in the world. It is out there for those who want it. Your first step to accelerating your income is to do as Brian has said and decide that you want some of it. (And it helps to know how much you want! Be specific.)

Your next step is determining what you will have to do to get it. Brian refers to the Laws of Cause and Effect. "Everything happens for a reason," he says. "For every effect, there is a cause or a set of causes."

He explains that the Law of Cause and Effect has also been called the "Law of Sowing and Reaping," the "Law of Action and Reaction" and the "Law of Compensation."

As it relates to this web biz blog post, what that means is if you do the things you need to do to attract money, money will come to you. (If money isn't coming to you now, you need to adjust something.)

In the world of marketing and sales, to get people to send you their money, you need to offer them products or services that THEY want and need. To be successful at this, it is imperative that you focus on the self-interest of the customer. Serve THEIR needs. Solve THEIR problems.

How to Accelerate Your Income by Helping Others

As I mentioned earlier, there is a way you can guard against the poor economy and the potential effects of job loss and that way is by selling products and services via Internet Marketing. You can do this from the comfort of home, on a part time basis, even while employed outside of the home.

While selling products on a commission basis as an "affiliate marketer" is fine, there is a way to accelerate your income even more powerfully.

Zig highlighted the value of helping others get what they want.

Given the current state of the economy, what do you think most people want right now?

Right now, what most people want is a little extra income to help pay the bills or to buy some of the extras they would like to enjoy. Some may even be thinking ahead and looking to establish a backup plan in the event they, or a family member, lose their job.

This is where YOU come in. Instead of simply selling products and services to one customer at a time, why not set yourself up as a "solutions provider?" Show people how to start their own home based Internet Marketing business, then you can earn residual commissions from their efforts.
