home based Internet business enthusiasts, is disappointment with the results of certain sure-fire, "
tested and proven web biz opportunities" that I have bought into and promoted.
My first reaction, and the reaction of many others in a similar situation, is that the opportunity was no good, or that the marketing materials and resources provided were not effective, or that there were just too many others out there flogging the same opportunity, leaving no more good prospects for me to tap into.
It is very easy to fall into that pattern of thinking. I'm not saying that those factors may not come into play the occasional time, but generally, they do not hold water.
Home business progress cannot be achieved by placing blame externally for a lack of personal marketing and sales results.
The responsibility for success lies entirely with the individual and if something isn't working, it is up to the individual to determine what it is and how to make adjustments to produce the desired results.
I have always believed that if somebody has been able to do a thing, others can learn to do it just as well and with the same or better results. One problem I see with marketers who place blame externally with "proven web biz opportunities" that are not producing results for them is the "learning" factor of that equation.
If an aspiring
home based web biz opportunities marketer will take the time to learn
exactly what the successful marketer has done, and take time to
duplicate the exact steps and methods that have proven to be effective for the successful marketer, the aspiring marketer will achieve similar results.
But, as I have said in previous
Web Bizz Blog posts, it does not happen overnight. It will take time, trial and error to perfect the process. And this is where many wannabe home business marketers lose their momentum and begin looking to place external blame for their personal lack of success.
Starting PointPerhaps the
starting point for newbie Internet Marketers is the examination of their
goals, their
abilities and their
expectations. It is advisable to have these three factors clear before even considering any particular
tested and proven web biz opportunities.

proven web biz opportunities can carry the seeds of success for your
home based Internet business, but the potential for success must come from within you. It is good to do an honest and thorough self-evaluation before determining the kind of
home business opportunity that may or may not be right for you.
