Why? Because Private Label Content is quick and easy to access and it improves the efficiency of their Internet marketing efforts. In a real nutshell, Private Label Content is simply any information product created by one person and made available to others to use as their own. Also referred to as Private Label Rights, or PLR, Private Label Content can cover any subject and can come in the form of articles, reports, eBooks, even guides or training manuals. With proper permission, you can use Private Label Content for everything from websites and niche sites, to blogs and social sites, newsletters, membership sites, training forums and video scripts. You can even use it offline in magazines and other printed media. The wonder of Private Label Content is that it lets you become an instant author or publisher. Want to start up your own newsletter or magazine, online or offline? Private Label Content can be the trick to turn the tide of efficiency for you. If you are looking for ways to help highlight or promote your Internet home business ideas and opportunities, but you're not much of a writer, or you write well enough but simply do not have the time, Private Label Content can be your solution. I just want to point out, though, that you should get Private Label Content only from authorized providers. Never use material from any source unless you have the proper permission to do so. Always respect the work of others. If you do an Internet search, you will find many authorized providers of Private Label Content or PLR. Some provide it free. Others charge for it, but the price is usually much lower than hiring a writer to do it for you. The other thing is, each PLR provider may have different rules and regulations covering quality, copies sold, terms of service, whether or not you have to alter the material before using it and where you can use it. The Private Label Content provider I like to use is InfoGoRound, the King of Content. They even have a Cash for Content program where you can write articles in exchange for your monthly membership fee! In my opinion, Private Label Content has many applications limited only by the imagination. Even though I am a confident writer, I do find benefit in using Private Label Content from time-to-time and I recommend it as a tested and proven resource for all online marketers and Internet home business enthusiasts! So, you want to build your email list. You know that free, informative newsletters will attract interested prospects. But how do you make it appealing to subscribers? If you include comments for each item on the list, keep those comments brief. Three Ways To...: For some topics, a Three Ways To... list can be easier or more effective than a Top Ten List. Also, with just three items on the list, you can explain each one in more detail. You might also consider alternating between Three Ways To... and the Top Ten List from week to week. Checklists: People appreciate checklists that help them focus on a task and show them, step by step, how to effectively get it done. Introduce the checklist with a short paragraph, provide the checklist, then close with a brief recap or review. List building is critical in the business of online marketing. A free, informative newsletter can help attract qualified prospects to your list. Valuable content and a friendly format will keep them coming back for more. Blogging is a popular way to promote Internet home business ideas and opportunities, but whenever you hear about blogging, you also hear about pinging: what on earth is a "Ping"?Copyright © GT Bulmer http://www.StarrBizz.com When I first began my home-based Internet business, nobody had to tell me the value of using blogs (Web Logs) to promote my ideas and opportunities! As a writer and home business enthusiast, I appreciated learning everything I could about marketing and promotion on the Internet. Blogging naturally captured my attention because I love writing. However, every time I read something about blogging, "pinging" was also mentioned. Well, I still don't completely understand the technology behind pinging, but I do know the value of it and today I hope to give you a little insight and a lot of encouragement to "do the ping thing" every time you post new information to YOUR web log (blog)! First, what is a "ping"? Very simply, a ping is a quick and convenient way to tell search engines that you have either created a new blog post or have updated an existing blog post. In other words, a ping is a message sent to a ping server telling it that your blog now has new content. If you want to win favour with the search engines (and as an Internet marketer, you definitely do want to do that), "pinging your blog" every time you add new content is very important. Search engines reward you for adding new content regularly. Pinging helps to quickly let the search engines know that you have done it. A word of caution, though - only ping when you have actually added new content or have made significant changes to existing content. If you ping too often with no new content or no significant changes, you could be penalized or even blacklisted as a "splogger" (spam blogger). For example, if after drafting, posting and pinging a new message, you go back and make a few corrections, do not ping that same post a second time. Ping it only once unless you change it quite significantly. Many blog services have a built-in pinging option. Check the service you use to find and set the options that best serve your needs. You can also go to ping server sites and manually submit your blog. I prefer to use Pingoat.com and Autopinger.com. These servers notify a long list of other ping servers that your blog has been updated. If you use both of these services, I recommend not pinging the same sites on each of their lists. Only ping in the second service the sites not pinged in the first service you use. Visit Pingoat and Autopinger to see their lists of dozens of other ping servers, or do an Internet search to find ping servers or more information on pinging. Pinging is one way to quickly get your blog message out to the masses. Everywhere I turn, experienced Internet marketers are telling me the benefits and advantages of "Niche Marketing," but what exactly is Niche Marketing? I'm not going to get overly technical in this blog post today. I'm just going to give you some of the basics, then you can do Internet searches to your heart's content to find the right niche market to suit your interests. First off, how about a definition or explanation of what a niche market is? Very simply put, a niche is a group of people with similar interests and needs. The more passionate a niche group is about their particular topic of interest, the better market they are for the product or service that you, the online marketer, are targeting them for. How To Spot A Hot NicheTested and proven Internet home business ideas and opportunities abound online, so you may already have a particular niche market in mind. However, if you want a couple of good sources to help you identify hot niche markets and consumer trends, here are two that I recommend: 1) Google Trends: With Google Trends, you can quickly get Top 10 and Top 100 lists of current consumer interests. You can also compare these popular trends with your own topics of interest or marketing focus. 2) eBay.com: At the home page, click on the "Visit all categories" link at the bottom of the "Categories" list. On the All Categories page, scroll to the bottom and find "Popular Products" in the "Other ways to browse" menu. Click on the link and you will go to a page with Top 10 lists in a variety of popular categories. Use this Google and eBay information to your marketing advantage. If you spend time reviewing popular trends and niches, you are sure to come up with some great ideas: the possibilities and opportunities will inspire you, perhaps even spark your imagination. Now, here are a few things to consider before you make your final niche marketing choices:- Is the market small enough to discourage too many competitors, but still large enough to make it profitable for you? - Is the market easily defined? What a thrill it was to discover that Earl Nightingale's Lead the Field audio program is one of the Elective Courses available at Success University! I had been reading such inspiring and motivational books as Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, and How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie. I really did; I wasn't dreaming. I found $1,000,000 sticking up in the mud in front of my house today! What does that have to do with Internet home business ideas and opportunities? Well, it all relates to believing in your dreams.Copyright © GT Bulmer http://www.StarrBizz.comWe live on a secluded acreage down a country road just within the limits of our little town. Today, with the last of the late-spring snowfall finally melting away, I was cleaning up odd bits of paper and other trash down our driveway and out on the boulevard separating our property from the road. Normally, I have my eyes peeled for wayward pieces of paper money that might blow my way (more about THAT particular interest in a moment), but today, I was just thinking of beautifying my property. Little did I know what treasure I was about to uncover in the mud on the boulevard. Let me fill you in on some of my treasure-hunting history. Ever since I was about five years old I have always dreamed of finding treasure. Back then, and through the years, I would often find coins and paper bills in various denominations on the street, in gutters, ditches, fields, wherever. This happened so often in my early years that for many years following, I had recurring night time dreams where I spotted coins in the dirt and the more I would dig, the more coins turned up. In my waking hours, I developed a habit of watching for shiny coins on the ground, or paper bills blowing in the wind. As an adult, I soon found that I could earn far more "treasure" working than I would ever discover waiting for it to blow past me, so the childhood attraction of that sort of treasure hunting eventually faded away. Although, even now, when I see a bit of paper sticking up somewhere, or a piece blowing down the street, I sometimes can't resist checking it out just for the fun of it. Now, again, you may be wondering what all this has to do with Internet home business ideas and opportunities. As mentioned earlier, it all relates to dreams and life goals. I am an advocate for dreaming big, believing in your dreams, and actively pursuing your dreams. I know from personal experience that if you have faith and truly focus on your dreams, you can make them real. One personal example is my interest in writing. I've been writing for many years. I've always dreamed of being a paid writer. But it wasn't until I took that part of the dream seriously that paid writing opportunities started to materialize. Another example is a lifelong interest I have had in sales and marketing. I've been dabbling in marketing and promotion for many years and since the advent of the Internet, I've dreamed of developing my own home-based Internet business complete with websites, email marketing campaigns and the whole nine yards. It wasn't until I began to pursue that dream in earnest that I started to experience some satisfying results. So, my philosophy is "dream big." Don't risk limiting yourself. Shoot for the moon! You might not quite make it, but you will definitely go further and achieve more than you would have otherwise. I have always dreamed of finding a million dollars, or discovering treasure valued at millions of dollars. Over the years, I've been lucky in finding a few coins and bills. In those instances, it was not the value of the money that excited me, but the simple thrill of discovering it! While I never gave up on the dream of finding a million dollars, to be truthful, I never really thought it could happen. Then today, it did! Honestly, I found one million dollars in the mud just outside of our yard. And what a thrill it was! I saw this paper sticking up out of the ground. As I bent to pick it up I could see that it had the coloring and markings of Canadian paper money. When I pulled it from the mud, it was the right size and texture and had official government signatures in the proper spots. When I checked the denomination, I couldn't believe my eyes - it was clearly marked as a Canadian $1,000,000 bill!Now, as you may have guessed, Canada does not officially have a million dollar bill! My treasure is counterfeit! Close examination of the fine print on the front of the bill states clearly that the bill is not to be considered legal tender. Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted and the thrill of discovery and the excitement of realizing a childhood dream remains. And no matter what, I can still honestly say that today, I found $1,000,000! Horror of horrors! My Internet connection died this morning and the weight of impending techno-isolation nearly overwhelmed me. Then it dawned on me just how much of a blessing an Internet home business truly is.Copyright © GT Bulmer http://www.StarrBizz.comYou don't realize how dependent on technology you are until faced with a connectivity dilemma. My wireless, widescreen notebook computer wouldn't connect to the Internet this morning. I didn't panic. I knew there had to be a reasonable reason. All lights on the modem were green. Other computer applications seemed to be working fine. I wondered if, during the process of automatic overnight updates, some network setting got changed in my notebook computer. So, I powered up a desktop computer and ... same problem! No Internet connection! Work crews were doing some kind of maintenance or installation down the road, so I reasoned that maybe they had disconnected my Internet feed line for some reason. Maybe, if I was patient, the connection would soon come back online. Well, having learned from past experience not to assume that a service company would automatically know about a disruption problem, I decided to phone my Internet provider to find out what they could tell me. Smart move! The service tech on the other end of the phone line ran a diagnostic and quickly determined that the local work crew had nothing to do with my connection problem. Over the next hour, the tech had me jumping back and forth between computers, checking settings, doing diagnostics, and making certain that the problem was not computer-related. Eventually, we turned our focus back to the modem where the tech instructed me to press the nearly-hidden reset button on the device. The desktop computer, connected to the modem via a network cable, connected to the Internet immediately! But my wireless notebook would not. The tech then helped me program a new local network, and voila - all of my precious technology was back online! Whew. What an unsettling experience that was! It left me feeling blind, isolated, helpless. My first reaction was to wonder what good an Internet home business is, if you can't connect to the Internet or have to worry about losing your connection (although I've never before had a problem with this modem). But then a great revelation dawned on me: I might get temporarily disconnected, but my online business is on autopilot - it carries on merrily without me! My ads were still running, visitors were viewing my very best tested and proven Internet home business ideas and opportunities, some were signing up for my newsletter and other freebies, even joining my recommended programs ... and all without me being online or having access to the Internet! How can you beat a business with benefits like that? I realize that not everybody wants or needs these extra online income streams, but let's face it. An Internet home business provides a great alternative and comforting backup for when other unexpected challenges or "disconnections" occur in a person's life. I used to fear the failure of my Internet connection. Now, I have complete faith that my online business is looking after my income interests even when local technology lets me down! For me, that's just one more convincing reason to work at home and market online.
