SmallBusinessNewz.com titled
Problem and Solution Marketing.
Chris highlights the concept of marketing a product by determining who your target market is, then focusing on their "pain points" in the selling process.
At one point in his article, Chris says, "You need to make (customers) understand that they have a problem, and you are the solution."
Later, he states: "The point is that customers need a reason to buy what you're selling. If you can make them understand why they need your product, you will have a better chance of making the sale."
I agree with Chris on this, and I think that smart marketers need to position themselves as
professional problem solvers - especially during an economic downturn and in a failing economy.
Features and benefits are great, but you've got to remember that people have problems and they are looking for solutions. Chris says, "Be the solution part."
The economy may be suffering in your part of the world, but it's no reason to stop promoting your
Internet Home Business ideas and opportunities. It's like they always say: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!" Don't fear the economy, find ways to market smarter.
