The winner may not be significantly faster or better than the second place finisher, but the reward for winning is usually quite significantly higher.
Imagine earning 10 times the reward for an effort that is only marginally better?Personal success in life can be like that. And financial success in an
Internet Home Business can definitely be like that.
Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of extra effort to push yourself past your competition. You find a spark of inspiration from somewhere that ignites a burst of strength that is just enough to help you stretch beyond your limits and beyond "less motivated" marketers.
The result is you get to a potential customer first, or your advertising copy is just a little sharper, or your website has just a few more back links than the average, improving your search engine rankings, or your blog or social networking site offers a bit better quality content.
And you make more sales, sign up
more affiliates, create a longer, stronger email list... or... or whatever it is
you use to measure your progress and your success.
Winning By A Nose Takes So Little Extra EffortAs you go through your marketing day, watch for ways to do a little extra, push a little harder, stretch a little further. It doesn't have to be much.

* Do you comment on blogs to create backlinks? Comment on a few extra each day.
* Do you submit your site to directories? Add a few more to your daily list.
* Do you submit ads to free ad sites? Do a couple more before you quit.
* Do you write articles for
Article Directories? Can you write another, or start the next one at least?
* What DO you do each day to promote or build your
Internet Business? Whatever it is, add a few minutes more to do it in your daily routine.
At the end of the day, when you are approaching the "finish line" for that day and you're thinking about knocking off and putting your feet up, think instead about your
home business goals and motivate yourself to spend just 10 or 15 minutes more doing SOMEthing to help advance your business. That's all it takes.
A few minutes extra effort each day will add up to hours over the course of time and those hours will translate into rewards that will far outweigh anything the second place finisher is going to receive.
You don't have to be 10 times better to get those rewards. You only have to be
a nose better.
